Gary Adams

NE Atlanta Area Director

Gary Adams was born and raised in Knoxville, TN. After high school he attended the University of Tennessee where he earned a Degree in Industrial Management. He has been in the construction industry his entire professional career.

As a high school student Gary attended a Young Life weekend camp where he heard the gospel for the first time and began a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. His first Bible study teacher was his Young Life leader Danny Parker, CLC Pennsylvania Area Director. In 1996 he joined his first CLC group and it transformed his relationship with Jesus Christ. He would go on to lead or participate in 5 additional CLC groups. Gary believes that biblical life change happens in small groups, and his testimony is that he never wants to be out of a CLC group.

His passion and calling is discipleship in obedience to the second part of the Great Commission “and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:20). Gary lives in Marietta, GA with his wife of 37 years Carol, and they have two adult married children, a son and a daughter, and a grandchild on the way!
